Well its that time again Le Tour de France is on the telly, and i am glued!! of course sewing as well.....
Here in Australia Le Tour is covered by a network called SBS, and they do a fantastic job, the only problem being it starts at 10pm and finishes at 2am! not good for having to get up for work in the morning. but i do catch up the next day with a highlight show on at 6pm. i dont even know how we got started on this , but we love the race, the scenery and the food. they give you so much background on everything!! I really can say i love Le Tour! Hopefully one year we will hire a camper van and be part of the many tens of thousands of groupies that follow the tour each summer. my favourite riders are Andy Schleck, Thor Hushovd,Fabian Cancellara and the one Scot in the race David miller. well i dont know of any other Scot.
So if you get a chance wherever you are, have a peek at Le Tour!You will be amazed i gauruantee!
